Effective date: May 2026 · Daybook for iOS

Daybook is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. The app does not require an account, does not run its own servers, and does not collect your personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device.

1. Who is responsible

Daybook is developed and published by the publisher of the Daybook iOS app. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data Daybook stores

All data you enter — project titles, participant names, ownership percentages, deal notes, tags, and contact details — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS local storage.

There is no Daybook account, no Daybook login, and no Daybook server that holds your project data.

3. Data you enter about other people

You may record names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and notes about collaborators or partners when building projects. This information stays on your device. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to store such information under applicable law in your jurisdiction.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Daybook Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Where RevenueCat is used for entitlement management, RevenueCat may receive purchase and subscription event data needed to determine whether you have an active Pro subscription. Neither Daybook nor RevenueCat stores your payment card details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Exported documents

When you export a ledger as a PDF, the file is generated on your device. Sharing it via AirDrop, email, Messages, Files, or any other channel is your action alone. Daybook does not transmit exported files to any Daybook server.

6. Analytics and crash reporting

Daybook does not include third-party analytics SDKs, behavioural tracking, or third-party crash reporting by default. If this changes in a future update, this policy will be updated before any such SDK is added to the app.

7. Advertising

Daybook shows no advertisements and shares no data with advertising networks.

8. Children

Daybook is a business productivity tool intended for users aged 17 and older. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Deleting your data
